Princeton’s William Happer rebuts myth of carbon pollution

by John Locke Foundation [4-18-2018].

Dr. William Happer, professor of physics at Princeton University, summarizes his arguments about the myth of carbon pollution. It's that myth that underlies global warming alarmists' key arguments. Happer offered these comments during a Sept. 8, 2014, speech for the John Locke Foundation's Shaftesbury Society.

How to Think About Climate Change by Professor William Happer

Climate Change Over Geological Time When you read this article that I researched & wrote, you will see that there have been 8 major climate cycles over the past 1 million years. A glacial ice age lasts about 100,000yrs and is followed by about 10,000yrs of warming & then the cycle essentially repeats. About 22,000yrs ago the ocean level was 400 feet (40 story building) lower than today. About 3,000yrs ago, we started heading into the next 100,000yrs of glacial ice age. Regardless of which phase we are in, the average temperature is always moving up & down, although it is either warming or getting colder, based upon which phase we are in.

Therefore, any discussion about "climate change" must take into account whether we are in the glacial ice age phase or the inter-glacial warming phase. You simply can't tell which phase we are in by noticing the temperatures for 100yrs, or even 500yrs.
